Source Tai Der Square and Rectangular Tube Research Institute was established on 2025/7/7 (hereinafter referred to as the "Institute"). The Institute focuses on key needs such as advanced steel materials and industrialization technologies for square and rectangular tubes, driving innovation in engineering applications through core technology research. It has built a high-level innovation team with domestic leadership and international competitiveness in this field, achieving a series of breakthrough scientific results and original intellectual property rights. By establishing an innovation technology incubator and a complete industrial chain, the Institute's developed technologies and products hold broad application prospects across various industrial sectors.
The Research Institute focuses on strategic planning, incubation of outcomes, technical services, and resource support.
1. Core Mission
1: Leading cutting-edge research on square and rectangular tube materials science, forming processes, connection technologies, application performance, and standards.
2: Promote innovative applications and industrialization of square and rectangular tubes in construction, machinery, automotive, energy, and transportation sectors.
3 Build a platform for industry-academia-research collaboration and cultivate high-level professional talent.
4: Service Industry, providing technical consulting, testing and certification, and standard-setting services.
II. Organizational Structure
The institute is led by President Liu Kaisong, who oversees overall strategic planning, defines development direction, and supervises execution. He coordinates the work of vice presidents and departments and represents the institute in high-level external exchanges and collaborations.
The Institute is governed by a Board of Directors and an Academic Committee, which provide advisory guidance to support the Institute's development.
The Research Institute comprises three research centers and one administrative service center, with three vice presidents in charge of technology and one director of the general office. The research staff consists of full-time and part-time researchers.
The team includes Professor Wang Junxiang, a postdoctoral fellow at the State Key Laboratory of Metal Matrix Composites at Shanghai Jiao Tong University; an external doctoral supervisor at China University of Mining and Technology's School of Materials and Physics; a recipient of the State Council Special Allowance; and a leading talent in the second batch of the National "Ten Thousand Talents Program" 973; Researcher Sun Xinjun, project leader for the National Key R&D Program at the General Research Institute of Iron and Steel specializing in new materials development and recipient of the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award; Researcher Yao Liandeng, Chief Expert at Baowu Central Research Institute; Professor Tan Zhunli, project leader for the National "973" Plan at Beijing Jiaotong University's School of Mechanical and Electronic Control Engineering; and Professors Zhang Dekun, Wang Qingliang, Luo Yong, among others, who are project leaders for the National Key R&D Program at China University of Mining and Technology's School of Materials and Physics and recipients of the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Invention Award.

We operate as a provider of advanced technical system solutions and an operator of new materials and products, achieving asset-light exclusive commercialization of industrialized technologies. Leveraging our advantages in high strength, superior corrosion resistance, extended service life, and professional service excellence, we build a premium brand and establish industry leadership. We form strategic partnerships with major central state-owned enterprises and international clients, continuously reducing production costs, creating value for customers, and securing stable, high-value direct sales orders.
